Pastor grew up in Winchester, Indiana. He graduated from Olivet Nazarene University, as well as Nazarene Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
He began his ministry in January 1989 serving churches in Illinois and Oklahoma. He has served the Marseilles Church of the Nazarene since December 1998.
Pastor Clark and his wife Melany have a son, Ryan, (married to Ali) and a daughter, Sarah.
